A Sr. Extrusion Operator job is available with a manufacturing client in Covington, Ohio. The successful Candidate will maintain a high level of safety, quality, and productivity at all times. This candidate will be capable of operating a Mono, COEX, and / or 9L Nylon extrusion machines to manufacture blown film. Assist Production Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the shift. This is consistent work pace with opportunities to grow! The Extrusion Lead / Sr. Operator will report to the Extrusion Supervisor on 3rd shift.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Always perform all work in a safe manner.
• Set up Mono, COEX, 9L Nylon extrusion lines
• Perform all resin and blender hook ups according to traveler
• Verify all line set ups per traveler to confirm proper operations for all lines.
• Perform effective change-over on extrusion lines
• Unload finish roll(s) from extruder
• Load extrusion machine with spindle and core for next roll.
• Weigh, record quality & production data and load onto skid.
• Cut cores per traveler specifications
• Complete timely quality control checks
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
• Follow work instructions to ensure customer specifications are followed.
• Assist supervisor or lead with equipment or line adjustments
• Alert supervisor of any problems on the line
• Package finished product per customer specifications
• Finish skid by banding load to skid
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Other tasks as assigned
