Extrusion Operator, Sr. sets up and operates an extrusion machine in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and customer requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Extrusion Operator, Sr. adjusts and cleans machines. Documents work performed as required. Additionally, Extrusion Operator, Sr. may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Extrusion Operator, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility, following safety protocols and adhering to established procedures.
- Handle various types of materials, such as raw materials, finished products, and equipment, ensuring careful and proper handling.
- Utilize forklift attachments as needed for lifting, positioning, and securing materials.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe forklift operation.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, such as inspections, refueling, and basic maintenance tasks. Report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Combi-Lift (sidewinder forklift) experience a plus.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and familiarity with various types of forklifts and attachments.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
