Compensation:

• Starting pay rate of $19.10 - 19.67/hour 

Shift Available:

• Swing: 3:45pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities

• Ensuring bulk rolls are placed on unwind stand
• Assist in line adjustments such as speed, heat temperature, vacuum/air eject and general line conditions
• Keep sheet in line at all times
• Notify Mechanic/Support Group of all equipment/process problems
• Operate line and identify use of proper packaging materials such as bags, labels, boxes, tapes, and lot codes
• Operate roll splicers
• Provide assistance to Packers by packing quality finished product at specified rates and standards, sealing bags and keeping line stocked with inner/outer bags and boxes
• Responsible for maintaining housekeeping on line at standard 
• Remove, install, and operate packing equipment
• Support safety program by performing work safely, reporting unsafe acts/conditions, follow all health and safety rules, procedures, and instructions, report all injuries immediately to the Safety Coordinator, and wear appropriate personal protection equipment in designated areas

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be forklift certified  
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
