Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Director of Facilities to oversee our portfolio of full-service and lifestyle hotels. This person is responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance as well as supervising construction projects and should have experience planning and budgeting in the Hospitality Industry. To be successful in this role, this person is expected to plan, communicate, facilitate, oversee and coordinate any: preventive maintenance, repairs, improvements, renovations, new construction and overall presentation of all buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring goals and uncovering insights that lead to bigger, better, and bolder earned-centric ideas.
