Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Summary:
The Sr. Director, Design, Construction & Facilities provides leadership and end-to-end project management for all construction projects, including new store construction, remodels, repair & maintenance, and other proposed construction projects. This position directs and manages subcontractors, suppliers, and works with internal staff to ensure that materials, labor, and supplies are provided for assigned construction projects in a timely manner and within budget. This position determines necessary resources for projects within budget and calculates estimated costs in alignment with the Executive Staff and Leadership Team expectations.
This position directs all projects in a manner consistent with safety, profitability, timeliness, quality, and integrity standards. The role is responsible for the performance, fiscal accountability, coordination and/or oversight of maintenance, repair activities, and janitorial for multiple commercial retail locations, Supply Chain facilities, warehouses, and Corporate sites, to ensure that the facility and equipment are maintained at all operational, safety, ADA, and sanitation standards. The Sr. Director is responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of the store property, interior and exterior, and the development, execution and follow-through of the work order system.
