Facilities Director manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Director monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Director directs training of managers, supervisors, and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. POSITION SUMMARY :
Provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained in a manner that supports ServiceMaster facility Maintenance vision and mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Follow established safety precautions.
Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, stripped or finished as well as carpet cleaning
Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager / Care Lead Supervisor or the Director of Operations
