Job Duties: Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot automation networks. Utilizing expertise in PLC programming, including configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC systems. Design user-friendly HMIs for operator control and monitoring systems; Respond to breakdowns and work with maintenance mechanics to ensure systems are running; Upgrade equipment, develop scopes, and plan upgrades alongside internal or external resources; Oversee upgrades and testing to ensure success; Design, plan, and conduct construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities; Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs; Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facilities expansion; Establish and oversee health and safety standards on an as-needed basis; Act as advisor to management and key external stakeholders on job field related projects.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical engineering field (or the foreign equivalent) and 36 months of experience in Automation Engineering. Must have experience in the automotive industry. Must have experience with the following: interpreting electrical drawings; utilizing ladder logic; and PLC programming.
