Facilities Engineer plans and implements the design of plants, offices, and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency. Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc. and monitors the construction process. Being a Facilities Engineer researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs. Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met. Additionally, Facilities Engineer typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Supervise and train junior maintenance staff
Experience:
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills to interact with staff and address their maintenance needs
- Mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on various equipment and systems
