Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.   • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Electrical Engineer/ Facilities Coordinator to join our team in the electrical/electronic manufacturing industry. As the Plant Electrical Engineer/ Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of our plant's electrical systems, as well as overseeing the coordination and maintenance of the facility.

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, performing regular inspections and maintenance, and managing electrical projects.

    Additionally, as the facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the maintenance and repairs of the facility, including Under general direction, plans and implements the layouts of plant, office, and production equipment in order to provide the maximum utilization of facilities and efficiency of production.

    Develops specifications and prepares detailed estimates of design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Forms criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment necessary to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. Works on tasks that require analysis of identifiable factors and application of judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.general infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with codes and regulations
    • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner
    • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
    • Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repairs of the facility
    • Manage and prioritize electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and projects
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the facility

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical engineering or a similar role
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers, Electrical current and Power source knowledge
    • Schematics, Power Amounts, Auto Cad, and Mechanical
    • Strong Knowledge of Strander
    • Project Manager experience- Diagram, Bill, Draw, Budgeting, Cost
    • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC)
    • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Wire Cable experience a plus/ Steel manufacturing
