Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Facilities Manager monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, Facilities Manager trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Facilities Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Facilities Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Mission:

    Quantum is currently seeking a Facilities Manager provide the US Space Force (USSF) Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) support related to its mission to plan, task, integrate, provide Command and Control (C2), and support integrated Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR).  C2 is conducted day-to-day, through reachback capabilities and deployable subject matter experts, in support of US Combatant Commanders (CCDRs). Assistance is provided via the JNWC NAVWAR support cell, coordination cells, and deployable theater coordination cells.

    Responsibilities:

    • Investigates requests from JNWC personnel for facility support and submits work requests to the U. S. Air Force Civil Engineering squadron to have facility work performed or obtains services of contractors to accomplish facility work. 
    • Manages the accomplishment of that work to ensure the work is completed satisfactorily. 

    Requirements:

    • Requires High School diploma or GED.
    • Minimum 2 years of general experience in facilities management.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
    • Oversees the movement of personnel between and within a building. 
    • Ensures that periodic maintenance is performed as required. 

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 12 years of relevant military facilities management work experience.   
    • Overseas Warehouse and facilities management. Oversees the accomplishment of that work to ensure the work is completed satisfactorily. Oversees the movement of personnel between and within a building. Ensures that periodic maintenance is performed as required.
    • Logistician (CPL) certificate
