Facilities Planner plans building or refurbishment projects focused on effectively utilizing spaces and resources to support the organization's physical facility and space needs. Conducts evaluations of current facilities to assess short-term and long-term space needs and produce feasibility studies. Being a Facilities Planner prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, industry best practices, and organizational requirements. Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services. Additionally, Facilities Planner generates, monitors, and updates project plans and timelines with task details, deliverables, and status updates. Coordinates construction and installation processes and expedites delivery of materials required by projects. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Facilities Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Create and maintain the MPS by balancing business opportunities, costs and risks and enable the business to make conscious decisions on a plan scenario by providing alternative scenarios and the impact on business opportunities, costs and risks.

    This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

    Roles and responsibilities

    As a Master Planner, you carry the responsibility to generate and implement a planning that secures a high level of delivery reliability for our internal customers (Manufacturing, Optics, S&P, System Factories, other Module Factories, Finance, Business Line) whilst safeguards our company output targets and inventory targets.

    In addition, you will drive several improvement projects to industrialize further our planning framework.

    As Master Planning Project Lead your main responsibilities are:

    • End-to-End Planning across all demand types.

    • Align plan cross sector (Supply chain management/Factories/Sourcing).

    • Drive a monthly Demand & Supply (D&S) cycle (8Q horizon) to optimize the WF module output plans.

    • Contribute to MR capability assessments (5yr horizon).

    • Drive the execution of the D&S plan, monitor progress and manage deviation.

    • Drive and control the critical path and decision gates of the D&S plan.

    • Drive planning process, methodology and tooling improvements.

    • Align plan cross sector (SCM/Factories/Sourcing).

    • Determine optimal buffer strategy for WF value chain and manage inventory.

    • Drive improvements to lower inefficient inventory.

    • As-New planning (field reverse plan).

    Education and experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required; or Master's Degree (preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer science or equivalent experience.

    • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in high-tech industry with low volume and discrete manufacturing.

    • Experience with Master Planning/S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning).

    • Experience with Master Production Schedule.

    • Leading/participate in SCM Improvements Projects.

    • Knowledge and experience using MS Office and SAP.

    • Financial knowledge related to decision making.
