FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises and coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems. Oversees staff installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Being a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR tracks work orders and ensures work follows established service and quality standards for completion. Schedules and supervises preventative maintenance, painting, or carpentry projects. Additionally, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. May coordinate work to be completed by contractors and skilled trades. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a FACILITIES SUPERVISOR typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     POSITION SUMMARY

    The Office Facilities Coordinator will maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all office spaces, including break rooms and bathrooms, are tidy and well-stocked. They will also manage office supply inventory and orders, coordinate holiday decorations, and organize employee celebrations such as birthdays.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Ensure all office areas, including common spaces, restrooms, and break rooms, are neat, clean, and presentable always.
    • Wipe down the front desk and surrounding areas.
    • Monitor and restock supplies in all areas (e.g., restrooms, break rooms, and meeting spaces).
    • Coordinate with cleaning services as necessary for deep cleaning tasks.
    • Maintain an inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
    • Plan and execute office decorations for holidays and special occasions.
    • Collaborate with vendors to source quality supplies within budget.
    • Rinse out coffee pots and wipe down coffee stations.
    • Organize employee birthday celebrations and other workplace events.
    • Maintain a calendar of office events and coordinate with team members to ensure timely execution.
    • Support the office staff with additional administrative tasks as needed.
    • Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors.
    • Observes all health/safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
    • Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
