Job Overview:
Facility Control Systems, Inc. is a 30 year old family business seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities:
· Ability to follow instructions / process instructions including creating or modify purchase orders, invoices, vendor bills, receive payments, reconcile credit card and bank statements, receive and ship materials.

· Maintain confidentiality of financial records and sensitive information

· Experience generating invoices, client communication skills to follow up on aging invoices.

· Utilizes knowledge of business practices to document processes and make recommendations for improvement.

· Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

· Run reports for project managers related to project financial performance.

· Other assigned tasks related to back of house operations.

Requirements:
· Synthesizes complex or diverse information.

· Seeks feedback to improve performance; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.

· Demonstrates required skills, has thorough knowledge of Quick Books Online.

· Understands basic project management principles of project milestones, deliverable dates, budgets, change order management, clear communication, and accurate record keeping.

· Works cooperatively in group situations.

· Strong interpersonal communication skills.

· Manages competing demands.

· Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

· Uses time efficiently.

· Self-motivated, attentive, and always follow through.

· Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; applies feedback to improve performance. Proven experience in bookkeeping or related field

Work Hours

The position is initially part time (~20-24 Hrs. per week) with flexible schedule and could grow to full time in the first year based upon job performance.
