Looking to hire a Facilities Operations Director to oversee and interact daily with commercial facility maintenance and operations programs geographically dispersed across North America.

About the Position

Position provides oversight, direction and coordination for facility maintenance activities at assigned commercial jobsites to ensure adherence to client and program objectives. Position supervises and coordinates activities of skilled trades workers and subcontractors engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings at assigned jobsite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance activities management administration functions, handling a variety of actions and problems relating to assigned contract(s).
• Monitor management plans designed to accomplish contractual objectives and provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades, and crafts.
• Manage employees, general contractors and subcontractor workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality program performance.
• Plan and schedule the entire program activities, including maintenance operations and timelines to make sure program deadlines and expectations are met.
• Responsible for submitting various monthly progress reports in accordance with contract and company requirements.
• Manages and commits contract resources; monitors budgets on assigned contracts.
• Work with general contractors, critical subcontractors, and external vendors to negotiate profitable contracts.
• Responsible for safety of all personnel on job, including sub-personnel, compliance with environment standards and quality of work performed.
• Conducts training of staff, as well as safety meetings and briefings.
• Communicate the status of the maintenance program to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports.
• Research and address customer and employee complaints.
• Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure maintenance operations are in compliance.
• Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed.
• Additional duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
