Family Intervention Specialist jobs in the United States

We are seeking experienced Interventionists to join Journeys Children's Program, to work with our crisis team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. An Intervention Specialist provides direct therapy to children with developmental disabilities, teach life skills and socialization, and work to reduce problem behaviors in the home, community, and in school settings. A specialist also works to educate those involved in the child's life to help support the child reach their full potential. We are offering a $250 sign-on bonus for those who can start immediately and work at least 20 hours a week.

To qualify as an Intervention Specialist you:

• Have a Bachelors Degree

• 1 year/1040 hours of experience working with children (ages 3-21) with developmental disabilities

• Other Developmental Disability Experience
• are self-motivated and can work unsupervised
• Can pass a background check from the Department of Health and Welfare

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
