This position will train at Best Equipment's headquarters in Indianapolis where they will shadow experienced technicians and they will travel to the various equipment factories to complete their training.  At Best we succeed as a team, and information is freely available.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Work being performed closely relates to that of heavy equipment technician with a focus on Hydraulics, Electrical, Controls, and Fabrication.  Some overnight travel is required.

Qualified applicants will have the following:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in the troubleshooting and repair of 12-volt electrical systems
• Ability to read and comprehend complex wiring schematics
• Proficient in hydraulic systems including electric over hydraulic and air over hydraulic systems
• High mechanical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Fabrication, Welding, and Class 7/8 Chassis Experience is a Plus
