Field Auditor travels to assigned sites to audit inventory levels and ensure policy compliance. Reviews security and cash handling procedures and loss prevention data. Being a Field Auditor evaluates compliance with company policies, investigates any discrepancies found, and documents them for action by management. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Field Auditor typically reports to a manager. The Field Auditor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrist with patient care, including taking and recording vital signs and medical history
- Perform preliminary tests and screenings, such as color vision, and depth perception, retinal photos and visual fields
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as visual field testing and retinal imaging
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record system (Epic)
- Provide support to front desk staff with scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, and verifying insurance information
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of pediatric eye care is desirable but not required
