    We are looking for an on-call Field Case Manager Liaison to join our team in the Houma, LA area.     Position Overview:

    Travel to area hospitals or other medical facilities to meet with ill or injured employees for clients and report back to the call center RN with medical status updates. The employee is expected to stay with the client’s employee until they are discharged or admitted. Must be tech savvy to be able to utilize electronic communication including mobile phone scans, text messages, electronic patient care records and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Report to Area hospitals or clinic to meet with ill/injured employee for customer. Hospitals may include but are not limited to Terrebonne General Hospital, East Jefferson Hospital, West Jefferson Hospital
    • Employee will report back to RN within the call center with medical status updates
    • Employee expected to stay with customer employee until discharge and/or admit
    • Must be tech savvy to electronically scan and text medical updates
    • Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures, and departmental Quality Assurance procedures
    • Attend in-services and meetings as required
    • Perform all other duties as assigned

    Physical Demands:

    • Strength and Endurance
      • Ability to drive to a hospital or other medical facility within one hour of receiving a call
      • Ability to stand and walk

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Positive professional attitude
    • Ability to provide and/or receive constructive coaching and feedback during the learning process
    • The ability to use office technology, equipment, and learn new administrative functions within an organization.

    Pre-Employment Requirements:

    • Unrestricted RN, LPN, Paramedic, EMT-B or Certified Medical Assistant license for the State of Louisiana strongly preferred.
    • Previous medical office experience is required.
    • Must possess a valid motor vehicle license and clean driving record.

    Education:

    • High school diploma required.
    • Graduate of an accredited medical program commensurate of the highest level of certification obtained preferred.

    Experience:

    • Previous medical professional experience required.
    • Trauma and/or urgent care experience preferred.
