We are currently seeking a Pump/Rotating Equipment Specialist to work out of the Jacksonville, FL market. This Technician will be provided company tools, training, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Salary and Hours of work: $30-$35 per hour plus overtime (average of 500 overtime hours per year), depending on experience. A $45 per diem will be paid on days the employee works 11 hours in the field. The standard work hours for this position are Monday through Thursday with mostly local travel 2-3 hours radius.

Job Description:

Field Service Technician: Responsible for Pump field service push/pull, Install Rotating assemblies, Coupling inspections, Mechanical Seal installations, Repack Pumps etc. (increased wages with overtime).

Responsible for rebuilding Rotating Equipment, Pumps, Vertical Turbines, Gear Boxes and Blowers according to OEM Specification and our SKF Certification procedures

Requirements

2 years’ experience in a Plant or good knowledge with rotating Equipment or Automotive Mechanic

Preferred: Carpentry skills necessary to set, form and grout pump bases

Preferred: Operating a Laser Alignment machine, Micrometers

Certifications: Technical Schools, NCCER Millwright are a plus.

Excellent safety practices, drug free, clean driving record and a great work ethic

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
