Field Superintendent - Construction jobs in Oregon

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Field Superintendent to join our construction team! The Field Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing most aspects of construction projects on-site. Our team needs someone who can confidently install trim, doors, windows, and lead others. Our ideal candidate will have a background in construction management, finish carpentry and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control

- Coordinate with team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success

- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders

- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify any issues or potential risks

- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures

- Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain project schedules

- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for construction projects

- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
