Job Summary:
Working closely with the Project Manager, providing and maintaining all aspects necessary to promote the on time and accurate installation and completion of the Baggage Handling System.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Project Manager, while working with the customer consultant, general contractor and surrounding trades to ensure the project schedule is met.
-Attend required meetings and provide input as needed to assist in various trade coordination efforts.
-Keep updated and accurate logs of daily work efforts and noting any delays reported on the subcontractor’s daily reports.
-Maintain a proactive approach by supplying an accurate 4-week Look-head plan for the Project Manager.
-Manage manpower by scheduling craftsman hours. Maintaining an accurate inventory on site of conveyor consumables and tool inventory.
-Coordinate equipment deliveries and assist with scheduling equipment to meet install sequence and milestone dates.
-Ensure that all applicable paperwork is turned in on time and accurately completed.
-Work closely with site employees and subcontractor personal to maintain a positive and productive environment.
-Monitor with Site’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) and overall site safety.
-During testing phase, coordinate laborers and assist with all aspects of testing and training.
-Answer day to day questions/issues from the sub-contractors.
-Coordinate and resolve any field discrepancies/issues with the Project Manager.
-Verify site conditions as needed and relay any interference or ROW clashes with existing or future utilities to Project Manager.
-Enforce/adherence to all company and QMS processes, policies and procedures.
-Enforce and adhere to all company and customer safety policies and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
-Provide product feedback to Project Manager by submitting issues, suggestions on field discrepancy reports by maintaining good working relationships.
-Utilizes the time keeping system (Kronos) for accurate payroll records. Insure input is into payroll on a weekly basis by the payroll deadline.
-Assist Project Manager in monthly preparation on estimates to complete ETC.
-Demonstrates a fully functional interaction with the customer and ability to handle the labor environment, union or local.
-Have an understanding and adhere to the design specifications and any site specific requirements.
