Position Description:
The RBT Trainer is responsible for leading regularly scheduled training for staff and acting as the primary support for newly hired staff. The trainer will implement new hire onboarding to prepare them to deliver ABA therapy for young children with autism spectrum disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct new hire training and onboarding for the Registered Behavior Technicians
- Provide training for compliance with ethical guidelines, and Data Collection Standards.
- Ensure RBTs maintain accurate and timely session notes and data collection.
- Conduct periodic observations of RBTs during sessions (in-person or virtually) to ensure adherence to behavior plans and protocols.
- Conduct Session Note Audit Reviews as assigned.
- Monitor certification and renewal requirements for RBTs, ensuring compliance with BACB standards.
- Provide direct therapy to clients as needed per the Behavior Technician job description.
Requirements
- Current RBT certification required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
- Extensive experience using ABA data collection like Catalyst, Central Reach or Rethink.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, ethical guidelines, and behavior intervention strategies.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with remote training tools and platforms.
