Responsibilities:
- Engage in comprehensive finance and accounting projects which may include asset management, record retention, ERP data accuracy, automation, others as needed
- Execute daily and monthly routine tasks, including vendor and customer account maintenance, spending analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Work closely with experienced finance and accounting professionals to gain valuable insights into supporting accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data
Qualifications:
- Proactive and analytical student enrolled in a business, finance or accounting degree program
- Excited to contribute to projects that sharpen your technical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills
- Available to start in spring or summer 2025 at our Durham (NC) site
- Sophomore or above undergraduate or graduate student
- Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or other related majors considered based on experience
- GPA: Preferred 3.0 or above. Exceptions may be based on experience and institution
- Fluency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
