Program Manager/Supervisor

  • Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Supervisor/Manager is key to the efficient and effective working of our "Pathway To Success Series" school based programming as well as our community based systems change initiatives. This multi-faceted, innovative, and challenging role involves covering support both administratively and programmatically, while guiding our direct service team to success through completion of deliverables and project milestones. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to travel and work inside various South King County school districts managing direct staff outcomes such as direct service reports, project management tracking in collaboration with the executive director, uplifting the Build 2 Lead Brand through networking and executive level stakeholder meetings, assisting staff in building collaborative school based and community based committees, and tracking of of direct service staff professional development goals and trainings. Time will be split amongst current in-school and community-based projects. Your initial training will consist of Build 2 Lead's service model, FERPA Trainings, Certified Peer Counseling Trainings, Project Management Tracking, and if needed First-Aid and Restorative Circle Implementation training. You will be expected to grow within the organization and assist with tasks related to the financial and operational development of Build 2 Lead. You will also learn how to engage the community and build cross-sector partnerships by working directly with the Executive Director.

    More of what you’ll do in this role:

    Direct Program Supervision

    • Manage the outcomes and deliverables of Build 2 Leads "Pathway to Success Series" programing in-school, after school and in community. Topics include best practices and strategies for Trauma Informed Care, Youth Listening Sessions, Community-Engagement Info. Sessions, and Youth Restorative Practice Training Sessions.
    • Manage direct staff recruitment efforts for students and our community-based/after school civic engagement opportunities.
    • Manage and collaborate with direct service staff to capture and track student key performance indicators for data detailing student progress.
    • Attend weekly and as the job progresses, monthly debrief and dream design sessions with the Executive Director to discuss administrative and operational outcomes and future partnerships/opportunities.
    • Be ready to pivot and fill in for direct service program facilitation in the event of absences, vacations, emergencies or illnesses of supervised staff.

    Case management Supervision

    • Supervise the resiliency and holistic case management outcomes of enrolled student and community members.
    • Supervise and support the case managers facilitation of our student's needs assessment.
    • Supervise and support case managers with resource tracking, connection, and allocation to students and community members enrolled in Build 2 Lead programs and initiatives.
    • Hold student check and connect sessions monthly to track progress.
    • Be ready to pivot and fill in for case management duties in the event of absences, vacations, emergencies, or illnesses of supervised staff.

    Stakeholder engagement

    • Attend school-based meetings with key leaders and program partners in the building, build effective connections with community partner meetings in person and virtually and regularly attend B2L team huddles.
    • Attend relevant executive level stakeholder meetings and convey the mission, vision, and overall scope of all current and future Build 2 Lead projects and initiatives. Meet monthly with Key partners to discuss shared students and progress of partnership.
    • Support the coordination of B2L Legacy events.
    • Support and supervise the recruitment of participants and presenters for B2L Legacy events.
    • Attend pertinent staff meetings.
    • Attend B2L Board Annual Retreat Meeting

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: Up to $66,500.00 per year
