This Role

We’re looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to own the entirety of the finance function at Atom Finance. You’ll be primarily responsible for driving business impact through accurate & timely financial reporting and insights. You’ll also be responsible for all accounting operations, budget management, pricing strategy, and vendor relations. This is an opportunity to work side-by-side with our CEO, the rest of our leadership team, and our investors to drive Atom towards success.

• Partner with the leadership team to inform strategic & operational decision-making using financial insights
• Drive monthly,  quarterly, and annual forecasting, reporting, and close processes
• Build dynamic & impactful financial models that support business needs and paint an accurate picture to internal & external audiences
• Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable & receivable, general ledger, GAAP accounting, and preparation of internal & external financial statements
• Oversee audit process & manage relationships with external accountants
• Maintain internal finance & accounting systems including Quickbooks, Carta, and Brex 
• Drive operational efficiency & uncover opportunities to lower operational spend
• Support ongoing fundraising efforts by creating strong supporting materials, including financial modeling, analysis, and collateral

• 4 years of relevant professional experience; experience in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or strategy consulting highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience working in a high-growth environment; experience working in a venture-backed technology company preferred
• Strong analytical acumen; experience in building and reviewing complex financial models and the ability to translate complex financial data into digestible insights
• High level of intellectual curiosity; comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrates an eagerness to learn & contribute
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
