Finance Manager manages the daily financial activities and functions for an organization including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Ensures all financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. Being a Finance Manager forecasts and manages a cash flow that meets the needs of the company. Provides guidance to managers in financial reporting objectives and standards to ensure accurate, compliant and useful financial reporting is produced. Additionally, Finance Manager oversees the budget process and works with managers to produce and manage effective budgets. Kona Brewing Hawaii has an internal opening for a Marketing Manager in Oahu, Hawaii. The Marketing Manager's primary role is responsible for creating and supporting marketing programs that help drive growth in Hawaii. Primary focus is community based (Events and Sponsorships) and efforts to build the brand of our brewery and two brewpubs. Key supporter of advertising and PR efforts, supports trade initiatives, facilitate interdepartmental projects.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Communications or another related field is required.
Required Experience: Minimum of 7 years combined marketing management experience in brand, advertising, PR, and experiential marketing. Proven experience leading digital strategy that ties to business growth. Passion for craft beer. Strong knowledge of the local beer and brewing community in Hawaii. Passionate about dining and culinary appeal. Knowledgeable about local community, social, environmental, and non-profit organizations.
Knowledge/Special Skills: Strong understanding of event marketing, advertising, brand and design. Responsible budget management and tracking spend. Corporate social media experience Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Photoshop. Goal setting and project management. Media planning (Earned, Paid, Owned) Strong communications, writing, presentation & public speaking.

Work Environment: This position is a blend of outdoor and indoor work, and frequent travel for marketing events and sponsorships. Ability to travel and work nights and weekends (Estimated interisland travel 10% - 30% a month).
Physical, Mental and Visual Demands: Lifting, carrying full coolers, kegs of beer, equipment - all typical activities associated with marketing events. Continuous mental and visual attention is required as well as performing complex tasks and reporting. Occasionally, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
