Job Description: Position Summary: BW Filling and Closing, is currently seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for our growing global organization. The Director of FP&A joins our leadership team during an exciting period as we bring together two existing Barry Wehmiller Divisions – Pneumatic Scale Angelus and Synerlink. Beyond serving in the traditional capacity as the trusted steward for accurate financials and business insights, this position will contribute as a strategic thinker and leader, able to meaningfully impact business performance in the pursuit of greater revenue and profitability. Job Responsibilities: In addition to reporting directly to BW Filling and Closing's Vice President of Finance, you will function as a key business partner to leaders in Operations, Sales, and Engineering, supporting their success through efficient reporting and insightful analysis that unlocks growth Advance the division’s FP&A capabilities by assessing current reporting capabilities, developing a roadmap, and then continually driving towards that future state enhances the Business and financial planning, treasury management and consolidated financial statement preparation and analysis. Develop persuasive presentations and business updates to senior business leaders that effectively communicates business results and urge action Proactively analyze operational and financial data, build financial models, and propose value-added actions to senior leaders to drive growth in the context of both short-term and long-term organizational goals. Lead key finance cycles such as forecast, budgeting, and strategic planning Build and develop a professional FP&A staff that efficiently serves stakeholders Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting; other business-related discipline considered if significant experience in finance and/or accounting Masters in Accounting, Finance, or MBA degree is strongly preferred, as are professional certifications (CPA, CFA) 7 years of progressive finance experience Demonstrated ability to work in a complex team environment with multiple stakeholders; able to work vertically and horizontally across the entire Barry-Wehmiller enterprise (12,000 team members) Able to manage a dynamic workload through effective prioritization and negotiating with stakeholders Ability to influence and persuade without authority Manufacturing experience, preferably global and multi-currency, with strong cost accounting familiarity High intellectual curiosity, strong desire to learn and improve Fundamentally sound working knowledge of US GAAP standards Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills Takes ownership for personal performance and business results Strong analytical, research, project management, and organization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint presentations and complex Excel formulas Candidates with data-modeling or business intelligence software are preferred Experience in consolidation and reporting software such as OneStream or Hyperion a plus Miscellaneous: Approximately 20% travel, both domestically and internationally.
