SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Analyst will play a key role in the initial stages of the composition of a financial plan to ultimately assist advisors in helping their clients identify and meet their financial goals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively communicate with both clients and advisors regarding initial stages of planning process
• Assist advisors and clients in understanding overall financial planning services and platform
• Help build the foundation of clients’ financial plans through organization, analysis, and entry of clients’ wealth and financial data into financial planning software
• Schedule and host live online meetings with clients to establish and navigate their individual websites used to view their personal financial data and plan progress
• Provide ongoing support to clients to maintain and update their website for the duration of the planning process
• Comprehension of clients’ holistic financial picture and standing
• Identification of outstanding financial information necessary for completion of financial plan
• Familiarization with clients’ financial products and investments
• Correspondence with advisors in tracking financial plan status and progress
• Manage workflow between case writer and advisors to ensure timely delivery of plans
• Support and collaborate with department members on with other initiatives and projects as determined by management
• Through working with advisors and case writers, you will gain valuable insight and experience with a wide variety of financial topics, products, services, laws/regulations, strategies, and practices.
• This experience will help prepare you to study for and obtain several licenses and certifications required by the SEC and FINRA, such as the SIE, Life and Health, Series 7, CFP, etc.
• While this is an entry-level job, the knowledge and experience you amass will help prepare you for the opportunity of upward mobility within the department

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• eMoney experience a major plus
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized; being able to manage multiple assignments concurrently
• Strong attention to detail and thorough analysis of information
• Critical thinking
• Bachelor’s degree
• Past financial services industry experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
