    Financial Analysts at Collibra are equity holders in the company and are partnered with C-Suite leaders, with whom they are responsible for building strong, trusted relationships. Within that partnership, the Analysts deliver thorough analytics, synthesized insights, and concrete recommendations that drive immediate, positive changes to the business. By owning the budget/forecast process and leading the month-end business review function, each Financial Analyst develops an in-depth understanding of the operational KPI and financial metrics of the business. With that foundational knowledge, each Financial Analyst can then more effectively design high-impact financial models that increase the timeliness and accuracy of decision-making. These roles provide a dynamic platform where the great technical skills and intellectual curiosity of an Analyst today can be infused with the business acumen and well-rounded experience required of a Financial Leader tomorrow.

    Financial Analysts at Collibra are responsible for:
    • Analyzing financial trends and operational KPIs to develop accurate annual financial plans/budgets, produce informed monthly forecasts, and provide critical business insights.
    • Utilizing systems such as Netsuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, FinancialForce, Workday, and Tableau to continually improve our operational and financial forecast accuracy.
    • Owning all variance commentary for department P&Ls, support the month end Accounting close process, publish performance scorecards, and create quarterly board presentations.
    • Designing business cases and sensitivity/scenario models that will help to quantify the impact of short-term and long-term projects on overall business projections.
    • Representing finance as a critical member of cross-functional teams that will evaluate, develop, and implement high profile initiatives that impact revenue growth and cost optimizations
    You have:
    • At least 2 years of full-time experience in Finance, FPA, Consulting, or Audit in a corporate environment
    • Strong knowledge and familiarity of financial reporting / accounting concepts
    • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Experience in a high growth company with direct involvement in ARR analysis, performance analytics, headcount planning, and expense management is preferred
    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
    • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

    • A highly analytical problem-solver, with advanced Excel financial modeling and reporting capabilities, who has a strong propensity for taking action to deliver results
    • Able to "roll up your sleeves" to get into the data and analysis and then present concise insights to executive leadership with the bigger picture in focus
    • An excellent communicator capable of translating complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations
    • Comfortable in ambiguity, thrive through change, and highly motivated to grow and learn as as the company reaches new heights of growth and global impact
    Measures of success:
    • Within your first month, you will begin to develop strong cross functional relationships with your business partners and understand the top priorities, growth plans, and investment areas of the business.
    • Within your third month, you will own finance's relationship with several members of the Executive Leadership Team; providing monthly variance analysis and input on budget decisions
    • Within your sixth month, you will have become a trusted go-to finance partner for the Executive Leadership Team; able to speak to trends and variance drivers of both top line results and Opex.
    Compensation for This Role

    The standard base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

    In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
