Thompson Thrift Construction is seeking to hire a Full-Time
Financial Analyst for our office in
Terre Haute, IN. The Financial Analyst financially approves our subcontractors, maintains our analytical spreadsheets, and creates analytical memos and reports.
Responsibilities:

Analyze the financial statements of subcontractors and serve as contact person.

Oversee our monthly job reports, which are maintained in excel. This includes our inventory, revenue forecasting, and work in progress reports.

Prepare and distribute our monthly financial statement dashboard.

Identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues, and present analysis to accounting management.

Assist with budgeting.

Perform various accounting duties – may include sales tax, financial statement audit, and internal control.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business. Or an equivalent level of education and experience.

3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in public, corporate or construction accounting preferred.

Ability to read and analyze financial statements for creditworthiness.

Strong ability with Excel, advanced is preferred.

Experience with Sage accounting, Microsoft PowerBI or Procore is preferred.

Strong problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently and collaboratively to find solutions.

Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Organized and is able to manage deadlines.
