Uses database, spreadsheet and other software to collect and manage data. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Corporate) may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are a full-service financial advisory firm, and the job is a direct administrative assistant to an advisor. I need help organizing my office files, keeping client cases on track, maintaining my calendar, and nudging clients and prospects for meetings, along with sending paperwork between clients/prospects, and the back office. Data entry from prospect files will also be involved, so knowledge of Excel is a plus. Prior administrative experience is also a plus, as are phone etiquette and communication skills.
Attention to detail is a huge plus as I can be scatterbrained at times and can easily forget something for a client meeting I've remembered plenty of other times.
Knowledge of the financial industry is a plus, but not a requirement. You will not be asked to place trades, or know the ins and outs of the stock market, tax brackets, etc.
As we handle sensitive client information, confidentiality is of the utmost importance, and a background check will also be required.
We operate from 8AM to 5PM with an hour for lunch, and at no point will you be asked to arrive early, stay late, or work weekends.
