Financial Assistant (Public) jobs in Erie, PA
Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Classification: Part-Time—Exempt - United Steel Workers Union
Essential Duties: To provide professional representation to indigent individuals who are charged with a criminal offense.
Qualifications: A degree in law from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in Pennsylvania is required. Must be a member of the bar in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Must have experience in representing clients in criminal cases, or similar legal working experience. Must be able to drive to meet and represent clients. Trial experience preferred.
Pay: $41,350.00 per year
