Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Requirements / Licensures: This position requires a high school diploma. Proficient use with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, & Outlook) is required.
Duties/Responsibilities: :The PDS Financial Management Services Assistant will function as the administrative support in assigned areas and collaborate with the PDS Financial Management Services Supervisor to perform assigned duties. This includes completing budget requests, entering PA's into Avatar, verifying EVV claims with SB's checklists, keying time entry into billing/payroll log, assisting with payroll, submitting billing to Medicaid, and working old/outstanding claims. Electronic Cash Posting for PDS and balancing to ensure postings are correct.
Experience or Skill Set Required: :Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or residential Behavioral Health setting is a plus. Display competency in working with computers and electronic devices necessary for completing their tasks, written and oral communication skills.
