Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Position Summary:
The Library Assistant assists patrons with routine service including checking materials in and out, processing library card applications and material requests, sorting, shelving, material selection, computer issues and with all programming.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements are typical of an office environment and include sitting, standing, bending, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling carts weighing over 100 lbs., lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. and looking at a computer screen for long periods.
Competencies:
The individual must understand the Library’s mission, goals and objectives; follow the Library’s policies and procedures. In order to perform the job successfully, an individual in this position must demonstrate the following competencies.
