Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake interviews with clients to gather relevant case information
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, such as complaints and petitions
- Perform legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is properly organized
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure smooth case progression
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the coordination of client meetings and court appearances
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information

Skills:
- Strong clerical skills, including data entry, filing, and document management
- Proficiency in legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document review and case management
- Strong organizational skills to maintain case files and documentation

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal setting preferred but not required
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
