Financial Reporting Accountant jobs in Ogden, UT

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debits and credits, account reconciliation, and accrual accounting. Knowledge of Quickbooks software is required. This position is located in Eden, Utah.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Perform journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes

- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries

- Assist with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role

- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and account reconciliation

- Proficiency in using Quickbooks accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 – 40 per week
