Financial Reporting Accountant jobs in Provo, UT

Job Description:

Sunergy Solar is publicly traded (NASDAQ:ZEO) solar company. We are looking for an energetic accountant to help our growing company support our customers and team members. As a member of the finance team, you will be responsible for working with the team to complete general accounting duties (such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, accruals, reconciliations). This is full-time, on-site role in our Orem, Utah office.

Responsibilities:

• Help with end-of-month, end-of-quarter and end-of-year procedures including journal entries, account reconciliation, account roll-forwards, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data.
• Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in with an emphasis in accounting.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent Excell skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
