Evaluate the financial and insurance status of patients who receive oncology services at FirstHealth, and in doing so, interface with support agencies, patients, family members, social workers, providers, and/or third-party payors. Facilitates and coordinates enrolling patients in patient assistance programs as appropriate.
Qualifications: High school diploma, Associates degree preferred. One year working in medical setting in financial related field. Must have knowledge of insurance terminology and understanding of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines. Must have knowledge or ability to learn and become proficient in, Epic as well as basic Microsoft Office applications.
