Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. JOB SUMMARY
This position performs specialized duties in the balancing of Title IV funds and the completion of related reports.
MAJOR DUTIES
Freezes enrollment and disburses funds to student accounts.
Gathers and sends out federal funds to the Department of Education.
Researches and resolves issues related to rejected student loans.
Balances federal funds with school accounts.
Assists in the implementation of new BANNER systems.
Runs software processes for incoming files.
Remains informed concerning Department of Education software updates.
Performs related duties as assigned.

The purpose of this position is to provide specialized support for the Title IV reporting process. Success in this position results in the filing of accurate reports in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Oklahoma for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Annual salary $34,356.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
