Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Financial Reporting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with financial accounting and reporting tasks while ensuring the quality, timeliness and integrity of financial data. This includes preparing and interpreting financial transactions, reports and data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This role will be responsible for determining financial requirements, developing and implementing procedures or systems to meet specific financial objectives. You will perform month-end journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy. The staff accountant assists with preparation of annual financial reporting, internal and external audit reviews and examinations, as well as the annual budgeting process. If you have excellent time management and organizational skills this is the job for you!

    • Ensure accuracy of the data and evaluate existing accounting methods; make recommendations for improving policies, procedures, controls and systems.
    • Work with other accounting staff as well as other departments to ensure internal consistency of reports and analysis.
    • Provide financial analysis and written reports to management or other departments as required.
    • Prepare month-end corporate reporting packages.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related field
    • 1-2 years accounting experience, including broad business exposure
    • Excellent communication skills including ability to interact well within all departments and at all levels
    • Excellent organization, time management and problem solving skills required in order to meet rigid daily, weekly, monthly and annual deadline requirements
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and perform under pressure in a fast paced environment
    • Understanding of GAAP
    • Proficient excel and word skills
    • CPA or CPA track candidate preferred
