Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Financial Reporting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Director, Workforce Reporting is responsible for the management and assignment of staff that creates relevant automated reports through Microsoft Excel and other Business Intelligence Tools like Power BI and Tableau, etc.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilizes cutting-edge processes and technology within the industry to guide decision-making in workforce reporting.
    • Oversees the achievement of metrics, particularly key KPIs impacting financial performance.
    • Supervises the monitoring and reporting of both remote and on-site Team Members.
    • Establishes and sustains data governance solutions, utilizing consulting or outsourcing resources as required for data warehouse, business intelligence, and analytics architecture best practices.
    • Takes charge of developing inventive approaches to tackle complex or unique business problems and their solutions.
    • Collaborates with leaders and managers to identify and address data and reporting requirements for diverse company projects.
    • Takes the lead in predictive/analytical solutions, setting standards for modeling, reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
    • Identifies data tables and implements efficient data loaders, queries, and solutions for optimal reporting delivery.
    • Work with the Reporting Analyst on your team to develop, own, implement, and deploy innovative reporting solutions from data preparation and pipeline building (SQL, python), data visualization (tableau, PowerBI), to customer training. Validates bad data and provides solutions to lead to accurate reporting.
    • Collaborates with other analytics and business owners on definitions and calculations of KPIs to ensure contractual obligations and business metrics are sound and accurate. 
    • Provides general and ad hoc reporting as appropriate for internal customers.
    • Ensures that Contact Center is aware of legal requirements and that work processes are adapted to meet those requirements.
    • Acts as a role model and mentor for the team and accept responsibilities to nurture culture.
    • Cultivates strong working relationships with internal clients, prioritizing the delivery of top-notch service, anticipating future client needs, and actively engaging with management to address issues before they escalate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, finance, general business, accounting OR a related field 5 years’ experience managing others and experience in Workforce Reporting Management.
    • Minimum five years of leadership and analytical modeling experience in a Contact Center environment.
    • Minimum 5 years experience in writing queries (SQL, Python), and data visualization (Tableau, Power bi).
    • Background in human resources, accounting, finance, engineering, statistics, or analysis is helpful. Experience implementing new software/applications useful.
    • Experience with workforce applications, including call routing schemes.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and team-based project management experience
    • Strong editing and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt messaging to be relevant to the intended audience (workforce targets, internal team, etc.)
    • Capacity to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently as well as collaboratively
    • Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
    • Effective communication and presentation skills for various audiences including peers, management, clients, business customers, and the public
