Financial Reporting Manager jobs in Clearwater, FL
Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Manager manages the financial reporting staff May work with external auditors to provide requested information. May assist with the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Additionally, Financial Reporting Manager requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Reporting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Reporting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Flexibility and willingness to work some nights and weekends is strongly desired. With no set schedule you will have the freedom to work desired hours based on business needs and receive a weekday and weekend day off each week.
Candidate Job Requirements:- Fast Food, Retail and/or Hospitality experience is a PLUS!
- Spanish speaking is a PLUS!
- Possess strong communication skills & customer service experience/mindset
- Flexibility and willingness to work some nights and weekends is required.
- Be comfortable working on your feet. This is an active position and candidates must be able to lift/move up to 20 lbs.
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Have a High School Diploma/GED or at least 10 years management experience in lieu of GED or High School Diploma
- Have reliable transportation.
- Safe workplace for all by following all CDC Guidelines
