    Job Description And Duties

    The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation is recruiting for a Permanent Full-time Information Technology Supervisor II (IT Sup II) position within the Information Technology Services Division. The position is to be located in the Sacramento or San Francisco office. This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies in this position within the next 180 days.

    Under the general direction of the Information Technology Operations Manager (ITM I), the IT Sup II will serve as a senior supervisor at the IT Service Desk. The incumbent will supervise a medium size staff of Information Technology Associate and Information Technology Specialist I covering the northern California (Sacramento and Bay Area) region. Together with the Information Technology Supervisor II, southern California region, the incumbent will form a DFPI Client Service Desk management team to oversee a wide variety of analytical activities in support of the IT client support services and information technology systems.
