We are excited to bring on a Specialist, Tax Administration to our Group Protection Finance Organization to work in one of our key Cities Offices (Hybrid/Common Days).
Background Details
As a Specialist, Tax Administration, you will part an experienced and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving claimants and employers tax reporting inquires across multiple product lines. Collaborating with internal and external customers to validate claim payments and broker compensation payments will be a part of this role. This position will also reconcile claim transaction data required for accurate federal and state tax reporting for Corporate Tax. If this sounds like you, please read on!
- Collaborates with appropriate internal business partners to research, resolve, and implement resolutions to customer issues.
- Develops relationships & collaborates with a network of internal and external business partners to deliver issue resolution.
- Reviews data profiles to validate data across systems is accurate.
- Reconciling data quarterly and at year-end to ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Identifies and communicates to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.
Must-haves:
- 1-3 years’ experience in financial services or claims that directly aligns to the responsibilities for this position.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Intermediate Excel Experience
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (1-3 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
Nice to haves:
- Tax Reporting/Accounting Experience
- Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances
- Financial Services Experience

Pay Range: $53,500 - $92,500
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
