Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Title: Financial Manager of Private Medical & Aesthetic Practice
Position Summary
Hubbell Dermatology & Aesthetics of Lafayette is seeking a part-time financial manager for its growing medical and cosmetic practice. Candidate should have 5 years of private practice accounting and financial reporting experience. Quickbooks and medical insurance and private fee-based accounting experience required. Practice management software experience such as Nextech preferred. Dermatology and/or cosmetic/plastic surgery experience highly preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Weekly
o Inputting collections and invoices into QuickBooks Online
o Maintain General Ledger
Biweekly
o Management of payroll
o Bank-related matters
Monthly
o Participating in inventory management
o Participating in generating Financial Performance Reports
Ongoing:
o Daily financial operations management
o Managing costs and overseeing appropriate inventory management
o Manage equipment contract renewals
o Maintain highest level of confidentiality
o Perform other duties as assigned
o Management and monitoring a various insurance benefits
o OSHA Compliance
o Management of physical mail and electronic communications
o Occasional travel arrangements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
· Well presented, friendly and courteous, always representing the practice in positive manner
· Adaptable and flexible
· Demonstrated diligence, honesty, and integrity in all areas
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online preferred)
