Financial Systems Manager jobs in Rockford, IL

Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     2. Conduct regular evaluations of compensation programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
    3. Analyze market trends and benchmark data to inform salary decisions and recommendations.
    4. Lead the design and implementation of incentive and bonus programs to drive performance and achieve organizational goals.
    5. Partner with finance and accounting teams to manage budgeting and forecasting processes related to compensation.
    6. Provide guidance and support to HR partners and managers on compensation-related matters.
    7. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in compensation and total rewards.

    Qualifications:

    • SHRM or CCP certifications strongly preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in compensation management or related field.
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
