Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. You will coordinate all office activities including calls, scheduling appointments, and other clerical tasks. As an Office Manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to lead customer/client communications. Our ideal candidate has a solid customer service approach as well as a "can do" attitude and is able to work proactively on all office duties and needs.

    Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

    Responsibilities

    • Data entry
    • Create marketing emails and newsletter
    • Ensure the office is kept clean and in a professional manner
    • Schedule client appointments
    • Ensure timely and accurate customer service
    • Escalate urgent matters to owner
    • Ensure proper mail distribution
    • Completing client forms: data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.
    • Run report from company software
    • Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met

    Skills

    • Proven work experience in office setting
    • Excellent professional and inter-personal communication. Customer servicee is key!
    • Problem-solving abililties
    • Solid knowledge of MS Office. Must have experience in Word and Excel (You will be asked to demonstrate skills in interview)
    • Hands on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines, scanners and printers)
    • Positive mental attitude
    • A "think outside of the box" person who is a team player
    • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
    • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
    • High School diploma; additional certification is a plus

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $12.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 per week
