Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description
CSCI is looking for an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to support in the transition from a Department of Defense (DoD) legacy financial system to an SAP based ERP, the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). This includes providing implementation, sustainment and various accounting and audit readiness tasks in support of the new ERP.
