Here at King-Bruwaert House, a beautiful Senior Living community, located here in Burr Ridge, Illinois. We're extremely excited with the grand opening of our new luxurious Independent Living apartments, "The Gardens" right around the corner. We are currently looking for an Executive Chef to oversee our fine dining restaurant for "The Gardens".  Bring your knowledge, expertise, and most importantly, your creativity. Create recipes and menus that are satisfying to the residents. 

You will oversee the cook and restaurant staff to ensure each meal is served to perfection. Sommelier experience and knowledge highly preferred. Excellent communication skills is a must! If you are passionate about leading a team, have high expectations when it comes to sanitation and food safety, and would enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of seniors than this is an opportunity you don't want to miss.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years experience as an Executive Chef 
• Experience creating menus and recipes
• Sommelier experience highly preferred
• Proven track record and work history
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
• ServSafe certification and knowledge of food safety regulations
• Illinois Department of Public Health Sanitation
