Server
Duties:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Operate POS system and cash register to process payments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for the next customer
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling experience to increase sales and enhance the customer experience
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS, for order processing and payment handling
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items to accurately communicate with customers and kitchen staff
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Proficient in cash handling procedures, including counting money, processing transactions, and providing accurate change
Note: Previous experience as a server is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
